SPRING SUMMER WINTER
DURING THE WINTER OF 2012 THE COLD WEATHER WAS NONEXISTENT. THIS AFFORDED ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO WEAR A SPRING LIKE WARDROBE TOPPED WITH A LEATHER JACKET. NEXT MONTH BRINGS A SEASONAL CHANGE THAT SEEMS REDUNDANT CONSIDERING IT HAS BEEN A COOL 40-50 DEGREES VIRTUALLY ALL WINTER. NORMALLY WINTERIZING YOUR SPRING/SUMMER WARDROBE REQUIRES LAYERS, BUT SINCE IT HAS BEEN SO WARM, THIGH HIGH LEATHER BOOTS WORK JUST AS WELL AS A PAIR OF TIGHTS. ADD A LEATHER JACKET AND YOU ARE GOOD TO GO!

BLACK AND GOLD
PENCIL, MINI AND MAXI SKIRTS ARE A MAJOR PART OF MY WARDROBE. THE MIDI SKIRT IS HARD TO WEAR WITHOUT APPEARING DOWDY SO I USUALLY STAY AWAY. THEN I FOUND THIS BEAUTY AT ONE OF MY FAVORITE THRIFT STORES. I ADDED THE LEATHER JACKET TO GIVE THE OUTFIT SOME EDGE. HAVE A GREAT WEEK, BABES!

SPALDING AND GOLD
FINALLY BACK FROM THE WORLD OF BROKEN LAPTOPS AND UNPREDICTABLE WEATHER THAT MADE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO PHOTOGRAPH AND POST AN OUTFIT...UNTIL NOW. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN INTRIGUED BY THE JUXTAPOSITION OF SPORTY AND CHIC. I AM A SUCKER FOR HEELS AND SWEATS. SINCE I DO NOT OWN A PAIR OF SWEATPANTS, A SWEATSHIRT SEEMED LIKE THE LOGICAL ROUTE. PAIRED WITH A VELVET PENCIL SKIRT. AND GOLD HEELS, OF COURSE. HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND, LOVELIES! GOD BLESS.

LISTEN (RIP BOB MARLEY)
"Because of the increase of wickedness the love of most will grow cold". Matthew 24 verse 12.
Don't let anyone or anything deceive you into thinking that they are the Messiah. False prophets come in many forms. Material things, sex, vanity, etc. We can become trapped in falsehoods that keep us from hearing His voice when He speaks to us. Take heed that you don't become distracted
by the "city of man". We have created many things with our hands that we tend to glorify instead of God. Idols in the form of entertainment figures. Objects of beauty that we use to beautify our world and ourselves. These things get all our attention. When it comes to glorifying God, our voices are silent. Always remember to give God the glory. Listen to the vessels he uses to spread his teachings, such as Bob Marley, who taught "one love". Utilize the talents He has given you to spread His word and love in whatever you do. Ask Him to "let the words of (our) mouth and the meditation of our heart be acceptable in thy sight, oh Lord (our) strength and redeemer (Psalm 19 verse 14) Simplify and de-clutter your life of all distractions. Be still.
Read Matthew 24

HAPPY BLACK HISTORY MONTH
My skin is black
My arms are long
My hair is wooly
My back is strong
Strong enough to take the pain
Inflicted again and again
What do they call me...
