i think the horse was trying to eat and i got too close. they were shooting a movie and i absolutely had to take a picture. he was not too pleased...

i am getting ready for fall by wearing more color. do you like it?

stripes are in. i think. i always get confused when magazines deem something in or out. as far as i am concerned it's in if you choose to wear it. right?

a crop top AND a flash of thigh. oh, my. an attempt at sexiness without vulgarity. did it work?

these are my new shoes from shoemint. you will be seeing them a lot. a lot.

HATS

i love hats. i once left one in the backseat of someone's car. i still remember it. that was more than 10 years ago. that's how much i love hats.

NEW YORK FASHION WEEK

there is palpable excitement at the gates of lincoln center because the fashion interpreters are out in full force. the simplicity of a skirt or a dress is rendered magical in the hands of the wearer. symmetry and proportion create languid lines in almost every outfit. complimentary accessories punctuate for maximum effect. welcome to new york city.

SUMMERTIME SADNESS

the vivid colors and mixed prints will soon be put away. the paradigm will shift and the all black uniforms will come out. such is the new york city fashion scene. well maybe not a paradigm shift, but you know what i mean. the thing is black is functional during the cooler months. it's easy to throw on a black coat with everything. this year things might be different. here's to hoping.

i have never experienced fashion week. shocking, right? this year i plan to partake in the festivities. i don't have any invites, but i hear there is a gathering of fashionistas outside of lincoln center waiting to be photographed. i will be there in full fashiontastic regalia photographing and hopefully photographed. will you be there?
